Fine program, works exelent.Greetings EAE

While I found the product worked as claimed, some missing features made me turn elsewhere for a network sniffer.1) I couldn\'t sort results by columns, so grouping events was not possible.2) I couldn\'t find a search dialog to look for particular events.Perhaps these things can be done in some other way with the product, but because I couldn\'t find them (the product\'s \'help\' seemed minimal) I turned to another of the many products out there and found what I was looking for.

It\'s a useful tool, it would be better if can detect my wireless dongle.

I was a bit disappointed to discover that EtherSnoop won't detect my wireless adapter; this is why I tried it. I think that Visual Sniffer seems to decode packets better, though I didn't really use the product in any depth.Thanks.

Did not work in Vista I did not get it working in Vista Home premium version.

This program was recommended to me but I couldn\'t get it to work on Windows 7 Enterprise. It complained about needing administrative rights even though I am an administrator on this computer.

Data received and sent through the port is conveniently displayed in a self-explanatory format in both HEX and ASCII. Good tool.

i cannot able to start Free Serial Port Monitor under Windows 7. The program always have not privileges to run, even i start \"as administrator\".

Not quite what I was looking for I installed HTTP Sniffer to test a site that I'm developing with the assumption that it would show me all the http traffic between my browser and my webserver for each request. Unfortunately, it seems to be oblivious to the existance of AJAX and completely ignored any traffic sent to the server using Javascript. Otherwise, so long as you're just using it to monitor traffic from standard non dynamic html pages, it works really well.

Seems handy. I haven't had a chance to use the program too much yet, but I did get a chance to play around with it a bit. It seems like a smart tool that could become a normal part of my day.

Comments and Question about Free HTTP Sniffer. Downloaded without any problems. Installed without any problems. However, I know I have been to various links using Vista Ultimate and IE7 that have not registered? I have another program that reads my index. Dat files and does show those URLs. Why doesn't a packet sniffer show them?

What`s the point? I downloaded the free software and ran it. Instantly I'm told I have seven serious viruses that need to be taken care of. All I have to do is PAY for another program??? couldn`t use it While installing this software I got an error and also a trojan alert from AVG antivirus. I used it in the past and have thought it to be a very good product. I haven't been able to get it to install. I would very much like to have this on my computer again.

HTTP Sniffer did not display any results. I wanted to use it on Windows 7 (64-bit) together with IE 8 to inspect POST request data. Deinstalled it and used the primitive old ieHttpHeaders addon.

I simply needed an HTTP Header Sniffer to view headers including cookies to/from Firefox, IE and/or WinInit. For this task, HTTP Sniffer was useless.I found similar product, Komodia\'s SSL Sniffer, that did almost exactly as I needed. I could view the headers, but could not copy them for use in my programming. Even still, Komodia got the job done.

Some additional functionality I was like the program. I think here can be some functionality to show not only separate parts of packet, but all complete packet with hierarchy of separate parts.Thanks!Sergey

Worked great for me I had a one-time need to watch the traffic originating from by browser. This product delivered the goods! I have no idea how well it works compared to others, and I'm not using it every day, but it sure helped me out in a bind. I recommend it. If I were using it a lot, I would like a double-click option to see the data for a request. Saving to a file and opening it to view the message contents would get tiresome.
